Being an entrepreneur was the coolest thing to do in the beginning of 1990s. Standing on 2017, the entrepreneurial trait which trumps entrepreneurship itself is Serial Entrepreneurship. Serial entrepreneurs are that elite sub-set of entrepreneurs who have consecutively launched 3-5 or more endeavors and managed them successfully. The insatiable curiosity of “what more can I do to add value” drives capable entrepreneurs to create strategic relationships going beyond one venture, and they commit themselves to bring several creations under one sun.
Samira Zuberi Himika’s role as an entrepreneur started with the launch of her Social Good Company, Team Engine in 2009. Since then, the following projects has been generated from the creative, agile mind of Himika- Puthi (Optical Character Reader) (hyperlink), SEA (Social Enterprise Accelerator) (hyperlink), HAUS (hyperlink), Junction (upcoming) and ICHA (upcoming) (hyperlink). It’s notable that taking a business from the start-up ‘ideation’ phase and to take it to a sustainable growth trajectory is a grand feat in itself. Samira Zuberi Himika doesn’t believe in staying homeostasis- she runs on her drive to add value and runs each of her projects with equal effort.
