Art of Living is my memories, my philosophies and my beliefs- woven together into the never-ending chronicles of being me, being Himika.
From childhood I have been in a family where development of this country is very much encouraged. I consider myself to be very lucky regarding my gene-pool. My family has the “greatness gene”, as I like to say it, in them. Doing great things, doing big things is something I have got as an inheritance.
My parents could have worked a lot more and create one of the wealthiest and most prominent family legacy in Bangladesh. But they chose to live simply. They have taught me to give back to the society, to do as much as I can to change the world for the better. They have made me believe that I have it in me to do whatever I want to do. And they have trusted my choice to do the right thing among the thousand things I could do.
To do more for the world than the world does for you- that is success
~ Henry Ford
I am not like my parents. I love being in movements, energizing projects, making changes happen all around. I like to create platforms for young talents. I believe that the way of looking at life is what makes you beautiful. Yes, I do like to create a thunder, shake things around, and reshuffle them- but only to create positive impact. My life, is one of a giver. I like to create opportunities for others, and my takeaway from that is the joy of new experiences. Nurturing other people’s potential nurtures your own soul in ways which givers cannot explain- and I believe that the life of a giver is the best life existing out there.
